Pedagogical University of Maputo

The Clube de Desportos da Universidade Pedagogica de Maputo commonly referred to as CDUP is a professional volleyball and basketball club of the Pedagogical University of Maputo based in Maputo, Mozambique. It is a young club that essentially operates two sports, basketball and volleyball. The volleyball team competes in all local and regional competitions. The Club was founded in 2017. It is currently a club that is achieving good results through the Women’s Volleyball team, which we now present some:

Achievements

2023: African Champion of the Women’s volleyball club cup from African zone 6;
2022: Maputo City Champion; National Champion;
2021: African Vice-Champion of the Women’s volleyball club cup from African zone 6;
2019: African Champion of the Women’s volleyball club cup from African zone 6; Champion of the city of Maputo; National champion; Winner of the Mozambique Cup;
2018: National Junior Female Champion; Senior Vice Champion;
2017: Vice-Champion of the City of Maputo; City champion in juniors.

Lanzhou University

Lanzhou University (LZU) is the key national comprehensive university under the direct authority of the Ministry of Education, which holds an important strategic position in the national higher education landscape and significant influence with good reputation. LZU was founded in 1909. It has been sticking to the motto of “Constantly Improving, Blazing Our Own Path” for more than 110 years, and has cultivated many outstanding talents for the country. LZU has been selected as one of the universities for the construction of “Project 211” and “Project 985”, and was selected as the Class A university in the Double First-Class Construction in 2017.

LZU Women’s Volleyball Team is a distinctive and progress-seeking team. It has achieved excellent results in the National University Games, National University Volleyball League (North Region), Final of National University Volleyball League, Gansu Province University Games and Volleyball League respectively. Over the years, they have won a good reputation for LZU with their excellent athletic skills and attitude.

Hong Kong Baptist University

The Hong Kong Baptist University Women’s Volleyball Team is an energetic team. In addition to the skill training, the team also emphasizes on physical fitness, which enables the players to show their competitiveness and passion on the court, for adding different exciting moments of the team. In recent years, the team has achieved great results in various tournaments and has won the top three prizes in the volleyball competitions of Hong Kong tertiary institutions for a number of times. For instance, the Champion in the Jackie Chan Challenge Cup and the 1st Runner-up in the volleyball competition of The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK Volleyball Competition) in 2024.

University of Macau

The University of Macau Women’s Volleyball Team is a positive-motivated and striving team, which has won the champions in the Macau University Volleyball Championship for ten consecutive years since 2014. With high sincerity and enthusiasm, the team actively participates in volleyball competitions in various regions for broaden the view and enhance student life. Every year, the team organizes the invitational competitions for exchanging with outstanding teams to enhance the skills and develop the networks. We hope to refine ourselves for achieving the common goal, with continuous improvement in terms of our technique and attitude for having stable performance in every game.

As a participant in the volleyball invitational, I can say that we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We really liked the tournament itself – it was great to compete against athletes from other universities. We had a wonderful time playing in Macau, and felt very happy about the entire experience. The campus tour was also a highlight for us. We got to walk around the beautiful grounds and see the impressive sports complex. It was a pleasure to visit your university and we appreciated the warm hospitality shown to our team.

這次我們很榮幸能代表西北高校來參加此次比賽，也是慶祝中華人民共和國成立75周年暨澳門特別行政區成立25周年。通過這次比賽我深刻的感受到了澳門的熱情，更是感受到了澳門大學的溫馨。最重要的是與其他三支隊伍進行了球技上的切磋，友誼方面的溝通，文化方面的交流。

首先，非常感謝學校給我們提供如此寶貴的比賽機會。非常榮幸能和馬普托師範大學、蘭州大學和香港浸會大學的優秀女排隊伍同台競技，各支隊伍都有著出色的表現，本次比賽也為我們的女排隊伍提供了重要的成長平台。

參加比賽的每一支隊伍都各具特色。莫桑比克隊員們的團結熱情、中國內地女排隊員們的實力強勁、中國香港女排隊員們的聰明靈活，每一支隊伍的閃光點都值得我們認真學習。

在比賽過程中，我們遇到了許多挑戰和困難，但同時也加強了隊員之間的連結和友誼。我們一起經歷了勝利和挫折，這使我們更加凝聚在一起。我們知道彼此的努力和奮鬥，重要的是我們在過程中學到的東西，以及我們展現出的頑強拼搏的毅力。

排球是連繫起我們四支女排隊伍的紐帶和橋樑，讓我們能在澳大的球場上與五湖四海相同愛好的朋友相識，並感受到不同地區的風格與特色。我們將以這次經歷為基礎，繼續努力提升，並相信未來的努力將帶來更好的結果。
