ICTO貼士 - 如何在書院及研究生宿舍連接有線和無線網絡

大學校園網絡由光纖連接並貫通所有建築物,所有教職員及學生均可使用有線網絡和無線網絡服務。

關於連接大學校園網絡請參考以下資訊。

學生宿舍和研究生宿舍均設有網絡插座(如下圖所示)。

當需要使用有線網絡時,請先將網線插入標籤以「D-FD」/「D」開首的網絡插座,然後設置您的電腦。

資訊及通訊科技部為各書院 (RC) 和研究生宿舍 (PGH) 提供 Wi-Fi SSID「UM_SECURED_WLAN_5G」「UM_SECURED_WLAN」

「UM_SECURED_WLAN_5G」只提供5GHz頻段,以減少無線網絡間的干擾或擁塞。

您可以根據需要連接這兩個 Wi-Fi SSID。

「校園網路效能測試及回饋平台」https://speedtest.icto.um.edu.mo專為用戶而設計,用於提供遇到網路問題時進行速度測試並提交測試結果。

如果您在使用校園網絡服務時遇到問題,請填妥校園網絡性能報告表,提供相關資料以便進一步跟進。

UM campus network is connected by fibers across all buildings. Wired and wireless network services are available for all UM members. 

Please refer to following information about connecting campus network quickly. 

The network socket installed at RC and PGH is shown as below. 

In order to connect to campus wired network, please insert the network cable to the network socket that labelled with “D-FD” / “D” index, and then configure your computer.

MacOS configuration

ICTO provides Wi-Fi SSID “UM_SECURED_WLAN_5G” and “UM_SECURED_WLAN” for all Residential Colleges (RC) and Postgraduate Houses (PGH).

“UM_SECURED_WLAN_5G” provides 5GHz band only in order to reduce interference or congestion of the wireless network.

You can connect to these two Wi-Fi SSID depends on your needs.

“Campus Network Performance Test And Feedback Platform” (https://speedtest.icto.um.edu.mo) is designed for users to conduct speed test and submit test results when encountering network issue on campus.
