Abstract: In the face of escalating climate change risks, the development of robust energy infrastructure and the utilization of green financial tools have become increasingly critical. This talk delves into China’s practices and examines global trends to identify effective corporate strategies for managing climate risks. By focusing on both domestic firms and multinational corporations, the study highlights how these entities navigate the complexities of climate adaptation and mitigation. Additionally, this talk discusses the challenges faced in the energy transition, including divergent global trends and the need for harmonized policies. It emphasizes the importance of shared responsibility among governments, businesses, and civil society to address these challenges effectively. By fostering collaboration and coherence in policymaking, the talk aims to provide insights that can enhance the resilience of both national and global sustainability efforts.
