Dear Students, 

Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) is now recruiting Student Trainee(s) for assisting in CMS Historic Research Projects. 

Current UM Students (Both Local and Non-Local) are welcome to apply for the position. 

 

Job Duties

Assist in sorting out historic references and information.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements

Current UM Students;

Majors in Law, History, and Sociology will be prioritized;

Familiarity with Macau’s law, history, religion, philosophy, and social background;

Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus);

Good communication skills and team spirit;

Strong sense of responsibility and a positive work attitude;

Ability to work according to a fixed schedule will be prioritized.

 

Work Hours

Trainees are required to work 2-5 sessions (6-15 hours) per week; 15 hours maximum per week;

Regular working hours for student trainees:

Monday to Friday

– Morning session: 10:00-13:00 (3 hours)

– Afternoon session: 15:00-18.00 (3 hours)

 

Stipend

MOP 66/ hour

 

* Qualified students will be contacted for interview or other assessment. Renewal of position is possible based on satisfactory work performance.
