Faculty of Science and Technology successfully holds an industry talk on Artificial Intelligence
Henry Ng, Chairman of Macau Zenta Group Limited, delivered an engaging industry talk at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the University of Macau yesterday (19th). Titled ” Macau in the Age of AI: Innovation and Transformation,” the talk delved into the development opportunities and challenges Macau faces within this global trend, attracting dozens of enthusiastic students and creating a lively atmosphere.
Mr. Ng shared insights on how technological research and development, collaboration with universities, and computing infrastructure construction can collectively advance the development of artificial intelligence in Macau. He emphasized that with the rapid progress of AI technology, Macau is currently experiencing an unprecedented historical opportunity, with immense potential to become a regional innovation hub. However, while seizing these opportunities, it is crucial to carefully address the potential risks brought by technological transformation and strive for sustainable development.
During the talk, students actively participated in discussions, posing questions to Mr. Ng about the technical applications and industry prospects of artificial intelligence. The talk not only deepened students’ understanding of AI technology but also sparked their strong interest in the field, providing valuable inspiration for their future career development. 道元智能科技有限公司董事長吳偉恩昨（19日）於澳門大學科技學院舉辦了精彩的業界講座。吳董事長以「人工智能浪潮下澳門的創新與突破」為題，深入探討澳門在此全球趨勢中的發展機遇與挑戰，吸引了數十位學生踴躍參與，現場氣氛熱烈。
