因網絡設備出現異常,對外資訊服務於7月20日中斷,現已恢復正常服務

詳情 因網絡設備出現異常,部分對外資訊服務由下午1時30分起出現緩慢甚至一度中斷。由於天氣惡劣導致道路情況極度不穩,工作人員未能於短時間內回校修復。經考慮安全因素後,工作人員於下午5時30分返抵校園將該設備手動切換至備用機,並通知廠商進行後續處理。隨後,所有對外資訊服務已恢復正常。
受影響用戶 透過互聯網訪問大學的對外服務(需要UMPASS登錄) ; 在校用戶連接互聯網的訪問則不受影響。

Details Due to an abnormality in the network equipment, certain external information services were slow or even interrupted from 1:30pm. Due to extremely unstable road conditions caused by bad weather, colleague was unable to return to campus for repair in a short time. After considering safety factors, colleague returned to campus at 5:30pm manually switched the equipment to the backup unit, and notified the manufacturer for follow-up processing. Afterwards, all external information services have been resumed.
Affected Users Users who access external services through the Internet that require logging in UMPASS (Campus users’ access to the Internet were not affected)
