Advanced Certification of “Program of Water Quality Assurance for Buildings” Awarded by DSAMA

獲海事及水務局頒發"樓宇安心用水計劃"高級證書

Dear Students and Colleagues,

To ensure the hygiene, safety, and reliability of potable water, the University has made notable effort in the maintenance of water supply facilities in campus buildings, such as sanitizing potable water tanks regularly. Upon the invitation by the Direcção dos Serviços de Assuntos Marítimios e de Água, the University has participated in the current “Program of water quality assurance for buildings”, and has been awarded the Advanced Certification.

The buildings awarded the Advanced Certification are listed below:

East Area

E1/E2, E3-E7, E11, E12, E21, E22, E32, E33, E34

The following requirements must be satisfied for Advanced Certification:

  • Only buildings with water tank(s) are eligible to join the program;
  • Sanitization of potable water tanks every six months;
  • Annual inspection of potable water to ensure compliance with the potable water quality standards announced by the government.

 

South Area

S1, S2, S3, S4, S9, S21, S22, S23, S24, S25, S26, S28, S29, S30, S31, S33, S34, S35

West Area

W13, W14, W21, W22, W23, W31, W32, W33, W34

North Area

N1, N2, N6, N8, N21/N23, N22, N24

各位同學及同事們：

        為確保飲用水的衛生安全及穩定，大學一貫致力維護校內樓宇的自來水系統，包括定期清洗飲用水水箱等工作。本年大學應海事及水務局邀請，參與「樓宇安心用水計劃」，並已成功獲頒高級證書。

獲頒高級證書之樓宇編號如下：

東區

E1/E2, E3-E7, E11, E12, E21, E22, E32, E33, E34

獲頒高級證書必須符合以下條件：

  • 僅適用於設有水箱之樓宇；
  • 每半年清洗飲用水水箱一次；
  • 每年檢測飲用水，確保符合政府飲用水水質指引。
