We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming Distinguished Talk organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology on 3 December 2025 (Wednesday).
This session will feature Prof. Jun S LIU, Chair Professor and Member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences from Tsinghua University, who will present cutting-edge research on Monte Carlo methods in artificial intelligence.

- Speaker’s Introduction:
Prof. LIU is a Chair Professor at Tsinghua University, a former Full Professor at Harvard University, and Member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. He has made pioneering contributions to sequential Monte Carlo and particle filtering methods, and has received numerous honors including the COPSS Presidents’ Award and Morningside Gold Medal in Applied Mathematics.
