To further strengthen the sharing of educational resources within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, promote collaborative education between Macao’s universities and secondary schools, and broaden students’ academic horizons and exchange platforms, the University of Macau’s Moon Chun Memorial College, in collaboration with Pui Ching Middle School (Macao), recently organized a significant academic exchange visit to Shenzhen. This activity not only demonstrated the Macao education sector’s determination to actively integrate into the nation’s overall development but also provided a rare opportunity to deeply appreciate the great achievements of the motherland in scientific research and higher education.
Professor Kwok-cheung Cheung, College Master of Moon Chun Memorial College, and Professor Fu Chen from the Faculty of Education, together with Vice Principal Keng Lim Chan and teacher Mr. Xiaohui Wang from Pui Ching Middle School (Macao), led 40 students from both schools to The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) for a visit and in-depth exchange. The delegation was warmly received by Professor Xianda Huang, Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine and Head of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Admissions Team at CUHK-Shenzhen, and Ms. Yuan Li, Assistant Manager of the School of Medicine and Deputy Head of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Admissions Team.
Visiting CUHK-Shenzhen: Experiencing an Exemplary Model of Mainland-Hong Kong Cooperation in Education
On the day of the exchange, representatives from CUHK-Shenzhen gave a warm welcome to the Macao delegation. Professor Xianda Huang and Ms. Yuan Li accompanied the group throughout the visit, leading them to the campus library and various cultural venues. They provided detailed explanations of the university’s educational philosophy, academic programs, talent cultivation model, campus culture, and its competitive advantages and development prospects within the Greater Bay Area. Through this on-site visit, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the outstanding outcomes and strong academic atmosphere resulting from Mainland-Hong Kong cooperation in education. They deeply appreciated the remarkable vision and robust capabilities demonstrated by the motherland in building a leading education system.



Academic Seminar: Inspiring Innovative Thinking Through Scientific Mysteries
During the academic exchange session, Professor Jianhui Zhang, Associate Professor in the School of Science and Engineering at CUHK-Shenzhen and Warden of Yong Ping College, delivered a special seminar titled “A Drop of Water: Microscopic View.” Using vivid scientific phenomena as a starting point, Professor Zhang connected complex scientific principles to real-life applications. He explained cutting-edge knowledge in clear, accessible language and used case studies to spark students’ curiosity and active thinking. The students listened attentively, gaining close exposure to the frontiers of science in a relaxed and lively classroom atmosphere, thereby broadening their scientific mindset and academic perspectives. This lecture not only stimulated a strong interest in scientific research among the students but also inspired genuine admiration for the motherland’s remarkable achievements in both basic and applied science.


Visiting National Industry-Academia-Research Bases: Experiencing Deep Integration of Technological Innovation and Industrial Development
In addition to the university exchange, the delegation also visited the UBTECH Robotics Innovation Base, Shenzhen Art Museum, Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, and Zhuhai Aerospace Land. From the three perspectives of industry, academia, and research, they gained a comprehensive understanding of the Greater Bay Area’s development momentum and the new frontiers the motherland has opened in scientific research. Whether exploring innovative applications of artificial intelligence and robotics or the deep integration of aerospace technology with science education, the teachers and students witnessed firsthand the nation’s great achievements and firm progress in promoting technological self-reliance and building an innovative country.








A Successful Model of Educational Exchange in the Greater Bay Area
This joint exchange activity between the University of Macau’s Moon Chun Memorial College and Pui Ching Middle School (Macao) represents a valuable practice of educational exchange between secondary and higher education institutions within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and between Macao and mainland universities. It can be regarded as a successful model of cross-regional, cross-level collaborative education. The activity not only built an effective communication bridge between the University of Macau and secondary schools but also allowed students to personally experience the richness and diversity of high-quality educational resources in the Greater Bay Area. It deepened their understanding of higher education development in the region and further strengthened the friendship and academic ties among teachers and students from the three areas.

為進一步加強粵港澳大灣區教育資源互通,促進澳門高校與中學的聯動育人,拓寬學生學術視野與交流平台,澳門大學滿珍紀念書院聯合澳門培正中學近日精心組織了一場別具意義的深圳學術交流參訪活動。此次活動不僅展現了澳門教育界積極融入國家發展大局的決心,更是一次深入體會祖國在科研與高等教育領域偉大成就的難得機會。
澳門大學滿珍紀念書院院長張國祥教授、教育學院陳孚教授,攜手澳門培正中學陳敬濂副校長、王曉暉老師,帶領雙方共40名學生,前往香港中文大學(深圳)開展參觀學習與深度交流活動。代表團受到香港中文大學(深圳)醫學院副院長、港澳台招生組組長黃憲達教授,以及醫學院助理經理、港澳台招生組副組長李源老師的熱情接待與詳細介紹,活動氛圍濃厚,收穫豐碩。

在學術交流環節,香港中文大學(深圳)理工學院副教授、永平書院舍監張建輝教授特別為同學們帶來了一場題為「一滴水引發的科學懸案」的科技前沿專題講座。張教授以生動有趣的科學現象為切入點,將複雜的科技原理與生活實際相結合,用淺顯易懂的語言講解前沿科學知識,並透過案例分析等形式,充分調動同學們的探索熱情與思考積極性。同學們專心聆聽,在輕鬆活潑的課堂氛圍中,近距離接觸科技前沿領域,開拓了科學思維與學術眼界。這場講座不僅激發了學生對科學研究的濃厚興趣,也讓大家由衷讚嘆祖國在基礎科學與應用研究領域所取得的非凡成就。

除了大學交流,參訪團亦走進優必選科創基地、深圳美術館、深圳科技館及珠海航空中心,從產、學、研三方面全面體悟大灣區的發展脈動,以及祖國在科研前沿所開拓的新領域。無論是人工智能與機器人技術的創新應用,還是航空航天與科技教育的深度融合,都讓師生們親眼見證了國家在推動科技自立自強、建設創新型國家過程中所展現的偉大成就與堅定步伐。











一次成功的灣區教育交流典範
此次澳門大學滿珍紀念書院與澳門培正中學聯合赴深交流活動,是粵港澳大灣區內中學與高校、澳門與內地高校之間教育交流的一次有益實踐,堪稱跨區域、跨學段協同育人的成功典範。活動不僅為澳門大學與中學銜接教育搭建了良好的溝通橋樑,也讓同學們切身感受到大灣區優質教育資源的豐富與多元,增進了對灣區高等教育發展的認知,進一步加強了三地師生的友誼與學術聯繫。
