The FBA-BRTC organizes the 4th Professional Training on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the Professional Committee of Accountants of Macau
工商管理學院商業研究及培訓中心為澳門會計師專業委員會舉辦第四期國際財務報告準則 (IFRS) 專業培訓
The Business Research and Training Center (BRTC) of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), University of Macau (UM) has successfully completed the 4th batch of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) professional training, which took place over four consecutive weekends in October and November of 2023 at the university campus.
This latest series focused on two standards relating to Financial Instruments (IFRS7 and IFRS9). The lectures dived deep into the concepts and treatment of Recognition and Measurement, Impairment, Hedge Accounting and Disclosures. The series has attracted around 60 registrations, consisting of senior auditors and partners from Big 4 and other local accounting firms, financial analysts and top executives from financial institutions and manufacturing sector, as well as practitioners from the public, utilities and gaming sectors.
The executive training was conducted by experienced IFRS trainers, including Prof. Feng Tang and Mr. Derek Chan (both from UM), who are experts in the field. During the training sessions, participants received guidance on how to treat financial instruments in different scenarios and prepare disclosure reports that comply with international standards. Both the BRTC and CPC are planning to organize more similar training programs in the future to help accounting practitioners in Macau stay up-to-date with international financial reporting standards, which will also benefit their clients.
澳門大學工商管理學院商業研究及培訓中心已於2023年10月至11月期間連續四個週末,在澳門大學順利完成第四期國際財務報告準則(IFRS)培訓課程。
這個最新系列的重點是《金融工具》( IFRS 7 和 IFRS 9)。培訓深入探討了金融工具的確認和計量、減值、套期會計和披露的概念、應用及處理方法。本次培訓系列吸引了約60個報名人次,其中包括四大會計師事務所和其他本地會計師事務所的高級審計師和合夥人、金融分析師和金融機構及製造業的高管,以及公共、公用事業和博彩行業的從業者。
本次高管培訓課程由經驗豐富的IFRS培訓師講授,包括來自澳門大學會計學的助理教授唐豐及高級導師陳永亨。在培訓期間,學員們學會在不同情況下處理相關金融工具並作出符合國際財務報導準則的報告和披露。雙方亦計劃在未來組織更多類似的培訓計劃,以幫助澳門的會計從業人員掌握最新的國際財務報告標準,從而使他們的客戶同樣受益。
