各位同學及同事：
茲通知資訊及通訊科技部將於以下時間對有線區域核心交換機和接入層交換機進行網絡升級工程。
第一階段 – 更換W21-23 有線區域核心交換機
區域核心交換機為匯聚所屬大樓的所有網絡設備，所有網絡服務包括有線、無線、IP電話服務、互聯網服務及CCTV等服務將在以下時段暫停，有關服務將於升級工程完成後恢復正常。

第二階段 – 更換W21及 W22 接入層交換機
將安排於2023年7月10日至7月14日期間進行，網絡服務將分層暫停。我們會提前通知受影響的用戶。

Dear students and colleagues,
Please be informed that ICTO will perform network upgrades for Regional Core Switches and Access Layer Switches replacement as per the below schedule.
Phase 1 – Replacement of Regional Core Switch in W21-W23
The Regional Core Switches aggregate all the network equipment in their buildings. Campus network services (Wired, Wireless, IP Phone, Internet Access services and CCTV etc.) will be suspended during the replacement to be taken place. The services will be resumed once the upgrade tasks are completed.

Phase 2 – Access Layer Switch Replacement in W21 and W22
It will be carried out from 10 July to 14 July 2023, the network services will be suspended floor by floor. We will inform the affected users in advance.
