We are pleased to announce the opening of 1st call for applications (staff mobility) regarding the Erasmus+ “Mobile22” Project.

The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work.

Coordinated by the University of Porto, Portugal, the MOBILE 22 Project, approved in August 2022 and financially supported by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme, aims at fostering the mutual enrichment and a better understanding between Portugal and specifically 71* partner countries, through student, academic and administrative staff mobility.

About the MOBILE22 Project

The MOBILE22 Project runs from 2022 to July 2025. It provides UM with one quota for a 7-day staff mobility programme (5 working days + 2 travel days) in University of Porto.

For administrative staff: the selected candidates will be invited to join the International Staff Training Week organised by the International Office of University of Porto. For year 2023, the programme will be held from 3 to 7 July 2013. More information: link

For academic staff: candidates who wish to apply for the Project to conduct teaching/research activities during the mobility period must have a mobility plan before applying. Applicants are asked to link up with the corresponding faculty in University of Porto and seek consent from the counterpart on the teaching/research plan and the mobility period.

Financial Support

Travel

Important Information: the “travel distance” represents the linear distance between the city where the university of origin and the city where the host university are located. This is calculated automatically by a website indicated by the European Commission and cannot be subject to any change. The financial support allocated to the “travel distance” is the maximum allowed by the Erasmus+ Programme and is intended to contribute to the round trip back between the home and host institutions. In the event that the assigned value is insufficient to pay for the desired trip, the scholarship holder must find another sources of funding.
