Employers may ask some questions about recent current affairs in the interview in order to check the analytical skills and insight of job seekers. Current affairs questions are asked in interviews in many industries, especially those related to market analysis, public relations and communications. How should you respond to current affairs questions?

• Make sure you get the latest information, not only through traditional ways, such as reading newspapers, but also by using social media to get the latest information. 
• Make sure you get a variety of information and include information from all areas. 
• Pay more attention to the industry that you are interested in and try to analyze how this news may affect the industry.
• If the employer asks you a question about current affairs that you are not following, you can be honest about this, but you must supplement with an answer about your views on similar or related current events.
