The service of HPCC has resumed
高性能計算集群 (HPCC) 服務已恢復
Dear HPCC users,
On 21 August, HPCC encountered severe storage problem in /data/home partition (except FHS users). We immediately took the repair action and have been working extensively on finding the root cause and trying to re-mount the partition. However, the data in /data/home could not be recovered after working for a number of days. This only affects the HPCC users whose working directory is on /data/home. Users have to re-upload the data back to HPCC and continue to submit the computing jobs.
We deeply apologize for the unexpected failure of the storage and the loss of data. We understand the value and importance of data and the inconvenience caused to you. Therefore, we are taking this matter seriously and will take necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this unfortunate situation. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

HPCC 系統於八月二十一日,發現 在/data/home目錄(FHS用戶除外)遭遇嚴重的儲存毀損問題。自此,我們一直在努力尋找問題根源並試圖重新復原。然而經過數天的努力,/data/home中的數據最終無法恢復。這此只影響那些工作目錄位於/data/home的HPCC用戶。用戶需要重新上傳數據至HPCC並進行運算任務。
