On September 22, the Office of Sports Affairs held the “Meet with World Tennis Stars at UM”, invited American Professional Tennis Players Nathaniel Lammons (world ranked no. 27) and Jackson Withrow (world ranked no. 28), who are also partners in doubles to come to our campus to meet with the UM community. Both of them won five ATP doubles titles in their tennis career, three of them came this year partnering with each other, including Hall of Fame Open and Atlanta Open in July, as well as Winston-Salem Open in September. The exchange event attracted more than 120 UM members to witness the professional tennis players to demonstrate their talent and skill in tennis on-site. In addition to the showcase, there was also a tennis exchange competition session with UM Tennis Team, allowing UM Tennis Team members to have a precious experience of playing and learning with world-class athletes.
