澳門大學將於2月15日（星期三）舉辦“澳門大學發展基金會傑出學人講座”，由澳大發展基金會綜合度假村及旅遊管理傑出學人教授苗莉以“後疫情、元宇宙及旅遊業”為題發表演說，分析澳門在疫情過渡期後旅遊業的發展態勢。講座以線上及線下形式舉行，歡迎有興趣人士參加。
苗莉是澳大發展基金會綜合度假村及旅遊管理傑出學人教授、澳大工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系系主任。在學術服務方面，目前苗莉擔任《款客服務及旅遊研究期刊》執行主編。其研究興趣包括新興場景下的旅遊體驗，以及款客服務及旅遊消費中的人際動態關係。講座上，苗莉將探討後疫情時期出行及旅遊的意涵及其體現形式，並嘗試在元宇宙情境之中預視未來的旅遊體驗，尤其是就澳門的情況而言。

UM expert to give talk on tourism industry development in post-pandemic era next Wednesday
The University of Macau (UM) will hold a University of Macau Development Foundation Professorial Fellowship Lecture titled ‘Post-Pandemic, Metaverse and Tourism’ on Wednesday 15 February. Miao Li, University of Macau Development Foundation Professorial Fellow of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, will be the speaker. During the talk, she will discuss the development trend of Macao’s tourism industry in the post-pandemic era.
Prof Miao is also the head of the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management of UM’s Faculty of Business Administration. During the talk, she will explore the meaning and manifestation of travel and tourism in the post-pandemic era, as well as envision future travel experience in a metaverse context in the case of Macao. The talk will begin at 3:30pm and will be conducted in English. It will be available both online and in a physical setting, and the physical lecture will be held in the Multi-function Hall of the UM Guest House (N1-G014). All are welcome.
