University of Macau Student Organization Awards Year 2023-24

I.   Objectives

• To recognize the achievements and contributions of student organizations in the academic year 2023-2024.
• To enhance the recognition of exemplary student activities/organizations.
• To encourage student organizations to actively implement more innovation.
• To arouse student organizations to generate more innovative ideas for activities and self-improvement.
• To nurture diverse campus culture and students’ self-development.

1. Best Student Organization Award
2. Best Student Activity Award
3. Most Favorite Student Organization Award
4. Most Favorite Student Activity Award
5. Creativity and Innovation Award
6. Healthy Living Award

III. Prizes
Prize for each award includes a certificate and MOP 2,000 SAO funding.

IV. Application Procedure
Applicants can sign up application form via the QR Code below:

Remarks: Applicants have to prepare a 2-minute presentation for the judging panel. The exact presentation time will be announced on 15 April 2024.

V. Eligibility and rules

• All activities organized by student organizations of UMSU or UMPA in the 2023/2024 academic year.
• Activities organized from 1 April 2023 to 31 Mar 2024 are eligible for application.
• Final results of Awards #1, #2, #5, and #6 will be generated from the Judging Panel.
• Results of Award #3 & Award #4 will be generated by Online Voting.
• Student Organizations can ONLY use 1 of their activities to apply for 1 award. 
• 1 activity can ONLY be applied for at MOST 2 activity-based awards (e.g. Best Student Activity Award + Most Favorite Student Activity Award)
