MCM College Celebrates 2nd Plus High Table 2022：MCMC Signature Events and Activities Remembered for a Lifetime by Students
滿珍紀念書院舉行 2022年第二次擴充版高桌晚宴：滿珍紀念書院學生們終生難忘的標誌性項目和活動
On the evening of 16th February, 2023, MCM College Interim Master, Professor Kwok-cheung Cheung warmly welcomed distinguished guests, college fellows and affiliates to an informal cocktail reception at Fellows’ Salon. After a light round of social networking, the party proceeded to College Hall for the main event: High Table Dinner with international students and upperclassmen to a Second Plus High Table at College Hall shortly after the cessation of the pandemic.
Guests of honour at High Table included UM Vice-Rector of Global Affairs (VRGA) Prof. Rui Martins, Dean of Students (SAO), Mr. Paul Pang, Director, Alumni and Development Office (ADO), Ms Cindy Lam, and senior fellows, Profs. Glenn McCartney (FBA), Andrew Moody (FAH), Nevia Dolcini (FAH), and Pou-seong Sit (FED).
In his opening speech, Prof. Cheung highlighted the importance of college life, drawing particular references to the college’s signature events and activities. This was followed by Prof. Martins’ speech regarding global affairs at UM, and finally the keynote speech delivered by Prof. Glenn McCartney.
Special performances for the evening included G. Tailleferre – Impromptu on piano by Jiayi Yang, You say, sung by Felipe Barbosa (accompanied by Kylie Pun on Piano), and finally Chopin – Fantaisie-Impromptu, Op.66 by piano prodigy, Oliver Ioi Ioi.
It was truly, another outstanding memorable ‘Gaudie’, with much enjoyment and merry-making redolent of celebratory student life.

澳門大學滿珍紀念書院於2023年2月16日晚舉行擴充版高桌晚宴。晚宴開始前，滿珍紀念書院院長張國祥教授先在學人廳以雞尾酒會形式，歡迎當晚的嘉賓、駐院和非駐院導師和教員。 經過一輪輕鬆的社交活動後，便邀請各位嘉賓前往書院禮堂，進行是次專為國際學生和高年級學生在疫後舉辦的第二次擴充版高桌晚宴。
當晚出席高桌晚宴的主要嘉賓有澳門大學全球事務部副校長（VRGA）馬許願教授、學生事務部學生事務長（SAO）彭執中先生、校友及發展辦公室主任（ADO）林鈺儀小姐和四位書院資深導師 (非駐院) ：默希濂教授(FBA) 、 Andrew Moody 教授(FAH) 、杜雪雅教授(FAH)和薛寶嫦教授(FED)。
張教授在開幕致詞中，以滿珍紀念書院的標誌性項目和活動為實例，強調書院生活對大學生的重要性； 接著由馬許願教授就澳大的全球事務作分享；最後由默希濂教授作主題演說。
另外，當晚也安排了三個特別演出，包括楊佳怡演澤熱爾梅娜·塔耶費爾的《即興曲》、Felipe Barbosa 演唱、盤家琪伴奏 的《You Say》，壓軸演出由鋼琴神童睿睿演奏蕭邦的《升C小調幻想即興曲，作品66》。
這確實是另一個令人難忘、充滿樂趣和歡樂的 ‘Gaudie’高桌晚宴。
