【UM Athlete Career and Internship Programme】BOC Macau Session was held successfully

“UM Athlete Career and Internship Programme – BOC Macau Session” was successfully held on 10 Apr. Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) invited Bank of China (Macau) Limited (BOC Macau) for this visiting event which attracted 20 student-athletes to attend.  The event included 2 sessions: “Tour of BOC Macau Museum & Banking Center” and “Career Seminar”.

Through the tour, our students were given a brief introduction about the history, development and workplace environment of BOC Macau. After that, they attended the career seminar to learn about the concrete picture of banking and financial industry in Macau. At last, a BOC staff (also the UM alumni) from “Central Government Offices in Macau Division of Banking Center” shared her experience in working and joining the social activities in BOC, which also inspired students in this career field.

It was a great opportunity for our student-athletes to know more about banking and finance industry job market and prospect. They have learned a lot in the activity with positive feedbacks.
