伺服器群網絡應變演習

ICTO will conduct server farm network drill on 16 June 2024 (Sunday) from 09:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.

資訊及通訊科技部將於2024年6月16日(星期日)上午09:00至下午01:00進行伺服器群網絡應變演習

 

 

資訊及通訊科技部將對新伺服器群網絡進行應變演習，為驗證在突發情況下是否能按既定計劃執行應變措施，以進一步完善災難恢復計劃。本次應變演習有助確保新的網絡架構能夠滿足實際需求並保持服務的持續性。

演習詳情：

  • 日期： 2024年06月16日 (星期日)
  • 時間： 上午09:00至下午01:00
  • 內容 :  設備冗餘和故障轉移機制
  • 受影響的服務： 大學網站、電子郵件服務、行政系統及數據庫等服務可能出現短暫遲緩。

Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) will conduct a drill on the new server farm network to verify the effectiveness of the disaster recovery plan in the event of an emergency. This drill will help to ensure the new network architecture can meet actual needs and maintain continuous services.

Drill Details:

  • Date: Sunday, June 16, 2024
  • Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Content: Testing of switches redundancy and fail-over mechanisms
  • Affected Services: University website, email services, administrative systems, and databases may experience temporary delays.
