On 24th February, 2023, led by The Affiliated School of the University of Macau Principal Lou Lan Heng, a group comprised of 24 Form 5 and Form 6 students and 6 faculty members experienced a day of college life at Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau. The tour began with a guided tour by Prof. Kam Weng TAM at the Macao Base for Primary and Secondary STEM Education, followed by a guided visit to State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City by Prof. Ping SHEN.

After lunch at College Hall, students continued with a tour of MCM College to learn more about community and peer education across UM’s collegiate system. Participants took part in experiential learning workshops such as “Portuguese for Beginners” and “Career Interests Exploration”, which were conducted by Dr. Manuel Noronha and Miss Alice Hong respectively. Shortly after, three senior college student representatives were invited to highlight their respective college experiences with the group. During the sharing session, the students expressed their interest in continuing their studies at the University of Macau and looked forward to experiencing residential college life at MCM College. Finally, MCM College associate master, Dr. Manuel Noronha, presented certificates of participation to the group, and the activity came to a close.
