5 tips to help you adapt quickly to your new job

5招讓職場新鮮人快速適應新工作

After the rigorous selection process and receiving your job offer, graduates are once again in  the role of “freshmen” in the workplace. We have compiled 5 tips to help you navigate your new role with efficiency and ease：

• Learn as much as you can about your new job. This includes not only the professional knowledge  required for the job, but also the working methods, dress code, and working style.
• Find out how you can contribute to the company. See where you can use your skills in your new job.
• Get to know as many of your colleagues as you can. This doesn’t just mean the department or team you work in, newcomers should also try to get to know colleagues from other departments. This will not only you expand your network, but it will also make it easier for you to work with other departments in the future.
• Ask for help. if you encounter problems that you cannot solve on your own, remember to ask for help. Your colleagues may be able to help you not only solve the problem, but also find out what caused it.

• 盡可能認識更多的同事。不僅是你所在的部門或小組的工作夥伴，職場新鮮人也應該把握機會認識其他部門的同事。這除了能夠拓展你的人脈，還能讓你日後更容易與其他部門合作。
• 尋求幫助。如果遇到自己無法解決的問題時，記得尋求幫助。你的同事可能不僅能幫助你解決問題，還能幫你找出問題的原因。
