The “2024 IPF-China GBA Powerlifting Invitational Tournament The First Southern University Cup” was held recently in Zhuhai. The competition is divided into Open, Junior, Youth, Masters and University Student Cup categories, competing in the Triathlon, Bench Press and Hard Lift events. UM Faculty of Social Science, Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College (HFPJC) year 1 student Hon Chi Long has won the Champion at both Men’s Junior & Youth Group 74kg category, 1^st runner-up in both all divisions and University Group in the hard lift event, and also representing UM got the champion for University Team for single event.
