A delegation from Lingnan University Hong Kong including Dr. Louisa Lam, Chief Information Officer and University Librarian, Dr. Cheung Wai Man, Associate Director of Information Technology Services Centre, along with their IT expert team representatives visited ICTO  on 28 Oct, 2024.

The visit began with a tour of our data center.  Next, ICTO hosted an exchange meeting where discussions centered on the implementation and support of High Performance Computing, as well as the challenges associated with AI computing. Both parties emphasized the importance of prioritizing quality over quantity in supporting research, highlighting the need to continuously improve computing facilities and capabilities. This exchange facilitated the sharing of relevant knowledge and skills, laying a solid foundation for future communication and collaboration.
