澳門大學人文社科高等研究院(高研院)主辦的第四屆年度學術研討會已於2024年11月7日至8日在澳門大學E1大學展館圓滿舉行。本次研討會以「把脈人口動態:跨學科視域下的全球挑戰」為主題,匯集了二十五名來自國內外的學術專家、學者及行業領袖,從多學科角度深入探討人口變遷對社會、政策和個人生活的影響。為期兩天的研討會吸引了衆多觀眾參與,促進了學術思想的交流與碰撞。
本屆研討會設有六場專題討論,邀請了來自復旦大學、武漢大學、華東師範大學、上海師範大學、西南政法大學、浙江工業大學、暨南大學、嶺南大學、大連外國語大學、汕頭大學、賓夕法尼亞大學、昆士蘭大學、馬斯特里赫特大學及漢語基督教文化研究所等知名學府和機構的專家學者參與。通過集結各界專家學者的觀點,介紹不同學科領域和地域的見解,研討會不僅拓展了學術討論的深度,也為澳門大學師生及高研院學人提供了在各自研究領域與頂尖學者深入交流、拓寬國際視野的寶貴機會。
研討會涵蓋多個專題,包括政策與法律、人口趨勢下的社會變遷、家庭與區域挑戰、人口與家庭的動態、應對相關的挑戰(如倫理、福祉和住房)以及科技與隱私。專家們探討了大陸地區生育支持、智慧健康養老、人口老齡化對家庭分工的影響、社會融合中的道德敏感性、環境倫理、數字時代的隱私保護等議題,強調跨學科合作和多方協作在應對當今全球挑戰中的重要性。這次研討會的成功舉辦,不僅促進了不同領域之間的跨學科對話,也為應對全球人口挑戰提供了新的思考角度與解決方案。
週年學術研討會為高研院具標誌性的活動,為專家學者提供了高層次的學術交流和對話平台,探索前沿研究並拓展國際視野。未來,高研院將繼續關注全球研究趨勢,舉辦更多具影響力的學術活動,促進國際合作與知識共享,為應對全球性挑戰和促進人類福祉作出積極貢獻。
The 4th Annual Conference, organized by the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences (IAS) of the University of Macau, was successfully held from November 7 to 8, 2024, at the UM Gallery Auditorium. The theme of this year’s conference, “Understanding the Population Dynamics: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on a Global Challenge,” brought together 25 distinguished experts, scholars, and industry leaders from both domestic and international institutions. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the conference facilitated in-depth discussions on the impact of population changes on society, policy, and individual lives. Over the course of two days, the event attracted many participants fostering significant academic exchanges.
The conference featured six panel discussions with experts and scholars from prestigious institutions, including the Fudan University, Wuhan University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Zhejiang University of Technology, Jinan University, Lingnan University, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Shantou University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Queensland, Maastricht University and the Institute of Sino-Christian Studies. By gathering perspectives from diverse scholars, the conference enabled the exchange of insights across disciplines and regions, deepening scholarly discussions and providing a valuable platform for UM faculty and IAS fellows to engage with leading experts, broadening their international perspectives.
The conference covered a range of topics, including policy and law, social change related to demographic trends, family and regional challenges, population and family dynamics, ethics, well-being, housing, and technology and privacy. Scholars discussed issues like fertility support in Mainland China, smart aging, the impact of population aging on family labor, ethical sensitivity in social integration, environmental ethics, and privacy in the digital era. The discussions emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder collaboration in tackling global challenges. The success of the conference not only fostered interdisciplinary dialogue but also provided new perspectives and solutions for global population challenges.
The Annual Conference has been a signature event of IAS, providing a platform for scholarly exchanges, exploring emerging research, and broadening international perspectives.
