Abstract: Being the first country to establish a strategic partnership with China, 2023 marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between China and Brazil. Now, in 2024, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Brazilian relations. Over the past 50 years, China and Brazil have developed a strong and multifaceted relationship, characterized by cooperation across various sectors, including not only traditional areas but also poverty reduction, social development, scientific and technological innovation, environmental protection, climate change mitigation, the low-carbon economy, and the digital economy. Therefore, this conference aims to discuss the diplomatic relations between Brazil and China over the decades and reflect on future scenarios.
