澳大與金沙中國合辦管理學專業文憑課程圓滿結束
澳門大學持續進修中心、工商管理學院商業研究及培訓中心、高級管理人員教育辦公室與金沙中國有限公司為金沙團隊合辦的一年制管理學專業文憑課程圓滿結束並舉行結業禮,向第七屆(2023-2024年)完成課程的24位學員頒發文憑證書並作出嘉許。
學員分別來自金沙多個部門,如資產與設施管理部、餐飲部、保安部、禮賓部等。該文憑課程特別為金沙中國員工量身訂製,切合團隊成員所需;課程亦按澳大對歷屆學員的觀察,期間也會因應團隊成員的學習情況及工作需要作出調整。
澳大持續進修中心主任劉丁己致辭時感謝金沙中國有限公司對澳大的支持和信任,同時感謝所有培訓導師的支持和專業指導,讓學員學習到更多商業管理知識及技巧,期望學員能有效地運用學到的知識來處理工作上所面對的挑戰。劉丁己表示樂意聆聽各界的培訓需求,推動澳門的持續教育。
金沙中國營運行政副總裁麥萃賢表示,持續投放資源培育團隊成員,一直是金沙中國的首要重點,未來也會繼續與本地院校合作,推動本地人才培訓。此項文憑課程讓團隊成員同時兼備專業進修及技能發展,對學員的個人成長,以至對公司及行業發展均有幫助。期望團隊成員充分把握此項獨特的文憑課程,不斷學習知識、增強技能。
學員馮淑芳表示,在學習的一年裡,除了增長知識,也收穫了友誼,更為職涯增添力量的儲備。馮淑芳感謝金沙中國、公司各高層領導、澳門大學,以及各位教授、家人及同學。
該文憑課程於2014/2015學年由澳大持續進修中心推出,已有超過200名金沙中國團隊成員順利完成課程。
Diploma programme co-organised by UM and Sands China ends with success
A one-year diploma programme in management studies, co-organised by the University of Macau’s (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Executive Education and The Business Research and Training Center (BRTC) of Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) and Sands China Ltd, has ended with success. Recently, CCE and Sands China held a graduation ceremony for the seventh (2023-2024) cohort of students who completed the programme. A total of 24 graduates received certificates.
The graduates come from different departments at Sands China, including asset and facilities management, food and beverage, security and concierge, etc. The programme was tailor-made to meet the needs of Sands China staff based on experience with previous cohorts of students.
Prof. Matthew Ting-Chi Liu, Director of CCE, expressed his gratitude to Sands China for its support and trust, as well as to all the lecturers for their professional guidance, which enabled students to acquire useful knowledge and skills in business management. He expressed his hope that graduates would apply their knowledge to the challenges they face in their workplace, his eagerness to listen to the training needs of different industries, and his commitment to promoting continuing education in Macao.
Sean McCreery, Sands China’s executive vice president of operations, said that the company would continue to collaborate with local universities to nurture talent for Macao. According to McCreery, this programme aims to provide an opportunity for Sands staff to upgrade their professional knowledge and develop their talents, to the benefit of both the individual employees and the company. He hopes that the staff make the most of this unique diploma programme and continue to learn and enhance their skills.
Fong Sok Fong, one of the graduates, said that through the one-year programme, she and her colleagues not only acquired useful knowledge and skills in business management, but also made many friends. She expressed gratitude to Sands China, the company’s management team, UM, as well as their family members, lecturers, and classmates.
Launched by CCE in the 2014/2015 academic year, this diploma programme has more than 200 graduates.
