【ELC -EWCC 】Photo Sharing : 1st session of “Library DROP-IN Tuesday”
【英語中心 -英語寫作中心】 首場「即寫即問‧星期二」照片分享
On February 11th, English Writing and Communication Centre (EWCC), in collaboration with the UM Library, successfully kicked off the first “Library Drop-in Tuesday” consultation services.
With the shared goal of making academic support more accessible for UM students, EWCC tutors will complement the existing services of the library and visit the library AI cabin on the ground floor every Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. The drop-in will run for six weeks from February 11th to April 30th, aiming to provide 36 consultation hours to maximize students’ autonomy in learning outside the classroom.
During the drop-in, students can discuss with the tutors about their understanding of essay questions, having a quick check of drafts and ideas, referencing, CV formatting or other concerns they have in their academic studies.
Each drop-in session is up to 20 minutes, and will be provided on a first-come, first-service basis. During rush hours, students may need to sign their names for the support.
“Library Drop-in Tuesday” is a great opportunity for students to discuss their learning and get guidance and support from the tutors. It will reduce stress during the critical periods. So please don’t hesitate to visit the EWCC tutors at the AI cabin, library ground floor on every Tuesday afternoon!
