On February 19, student leaders from the University of Macau’s Moon Chun Memorial College, Camões House, in collaboration with the Finance Society, organized a simulated stock market activity for their peers. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 20 students from various grade levels, who were divided into two groups: “Consulting Firms” and “Investors.” Through analyzing market scenarios provided by the hosts and information from the consulting firms, the investors made strategic decisions to maximize their returns. The activity proved to be an enriching experience, offering participants valuable insights into the world of finance.

The event aimed to provide students with a hands-on understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and decision-making processes. By simulating real-world market dynamics, participants were able to grasp the complexities of financial analysis and the importance of informed decision-making.
