滿珍紀念書院：「失智症預防與識別」講座

Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau, held a talk titled “Dementia Prevention and Identification” on 19th February 2025 to raise awareness and prevention of dementia in the community. The event disseminated fundamental knowledge about dementia and provide practical cognitive testing methods.
College resident tutor, Iris Dai, began by introducing dementia and its significance. She provided a comprehensive overview of dementia, covering symptoms, early signs, and risk factors, giving participants a deeper understanding of the condition. Iris also introduced the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), explaining their objectives and importance. Participants learned how to use these assessment tools and then engaged in peer testing.
As event concluded, participants were invited to share their feedback. This talk not only enhanced participants’ knowledge of dementia but also encouraged communication among them.

澳門大學滿珍紀念書院於2025年2月19日舉辦主題為「失智症預防與識別」的講座，旨在提高社會大眾對失智症的認識及預防。活動普及了有關失智症的基本知識，並提供實用的認知測試方法。
書院助教戴麗娟首先介紹了失智症及其重要性。她全面概述了失智症的症狀、早期跡象和風險因素，使參與者對這種疾病有了更深入的了解。講者還介紹了蒙特利爾認知評量表（MoCA）和簡易精神狀態評量表（MMSE），解釋了這些測試的目的和重要性。參與者學習了如何使用這些測試工具，並進行了互測。
活動結束後，參與者被邀請分享他們的反饋。是次講座不但加強了參與者對失智症的認識，也促進了他們之間的溝通。
