We would like to announce that Oracle database server has successfully been upgraded to the new Oracle Database Appliance X10 and is now fully operational as of 1 March 2025.

The database serves as the central repository for all our critical application systems at UM, processing over hundreds of millions of records daily. The hardware upgrade is expected to deliver significant improvements in performance. The version update will better support our academic and administrative operations, providing reliable support for all applications and systems accessing the database. Additionally, this upgrade positions us well to accommodate future growth and development.
