University of Macau Student Organization Awards Year 2024-25

I.   Objectives

• To recognize the achievements and contributions of student organizations in the academic year 2024-2025.
• To enhance the recognition of exemplary student activities/organizations.
• To encourage student organizations to actively implement more innovation.
• To arouse student organizations to generate more innovative ideas for activities and self-improvement.
• To nurture diverse campus culture and students’ self-development.

1. Best Student Organization Award
2. Best Student Activity Award
3. Most Favorite Student Organization Award
4. Most Favorite Student Activity Award

III. Prizes
Prize for each award includes a certificate and MOP 1,000 cash coupon.

Mar 21 – Apr 2	Open for applications (2/4/2025 until 23:59)
Apr 14 – 24	Online voting (24/4/202 until 23:59)
Apr 16	Evaluation presentation (Judging Panel)
Apr 25	Result announcement
Apr 30	Awards Presentation Ceremony

Remarks: Applicants have to prepare a 4-minute presentation for the judging panel. The exact presentation time will be announced before 14 April 2025.

V. Eligibility and rules

• All activities organized by student organizations of UMSU or UMPA in the 2024/2025 academic year.
• Activities organized from 1 April 2024 to 31 Mar 2025 are eligible for application.
• Results of Awards #1 and Award #2 will be generated from the Judging Panel.
• Results of Award #3 and Award #4 will be generated by Online Voting.
• Student Organizations can ONLY use 1 of their activities to apply for 1 award.
