Black Bears Basketball Team “Campus Tour” event was successfully held

The Black Bears Basketball Team “Campus Tour” event was successfully held on 5 Mar at the Sports Pavilion in the Sports Complex (N8), with over 500 students participating.

The Black Bears Basketball Team is a professional basketball team in Macau. This “Campus Tour” event aims to inspire students’ passion for basketball and sports by introducing professional players to the campus, providing basketball training, competitions, and interactive opportunities, while also strengthening the connection between the campus and the community.

The event began with an introduction to the Black Bears Basketball Team, featuring professional coach Mr. Garret Kelly, who shared insights into the background and development of the sport, helping participants gain a better understanding of basketball. Following this, the Black Bears Basketball Team led the members of the UM Basketball Team in group practice, allowing members to experience professional team training firsthand.

In the final part of the activity, several students participated in a basketball challenge, and everyone’s enthusiastic involvement created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
