資訊及通訊科技部 (ICTO) 將有序開展更新設施網絡和部分有線用戶接入層交換機,以提升網路速度、管理效率和可靠性,為校園設施管理提供更好支援和提升有線用戶網絡體驗。

詳情:
- 在設施網絡升級期間,ICTO 會與 CMDO 互相配合,以減低對校園設施管理(如 CCTV、門禁等)的影響。
- 另外,在校園網升級時,部分有線網絡服務將分段短暫離線,而無線網絡及 IP 電話服務將不受影響。
- 用戶如發現有線網絡設備發生短暫離線時,無需進行任何操作,請耐心等待數分鐘,網絡會自行恢復。

Dear Students and Colleagues,
The Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) will upgrade the facility network and some wired user access layer switches in an orderly manner to improve network speed, management efficiency, and reliability, providing better support for facility management and enhancing the wired user network experience.

*For other locations with less impact, relevant arrangements will be notified via email.
Details:
- During the facility network upgrade, ICTO will coordinate with CMDO to minimize impact on facility management (such as CCTV, access control, etc.).
- Additionally, during the campus network upgrade, some wired network services will experience intermittent, while wireless network and IP phone services will remain unaffected.
- If users experience temporary disconnection of wired network , no action is required; please wait patiently for a few minutes, and the network will automatically recover.
