The “UM Athlete Career and Internship Programme – Sands China Session” was successfully held on 19 Mar. The Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) invited Sands China for this career talk which attracted 21 student-athletes to attend. The talk included 2 sessions: (1) Company and Job Vacancy Introduce and (2) Q&A.
Through the talk, students were given a brief overview of the company’s background, employee benefits, and future development which related to sports events. After that, Sands representative introduced current available full time job and internship positions. During the Q&A session, Sands representatives from Human Resource Department answered the student-athletes’ questions about job requirements and responsibilities.
It was a great opportunity for our student-athletes to know more about the integrated resorts job market and prospects. They have learned a lot in the activity with positive feedback.

衛穎楠 参加體育事務部的運動員就業工作坊讓我收穫頗豐。我在工作坊了解到上葡京和金沙度假村的很多資訊，如業務內容、酒店營運、部門架構等。還通過與企業代表的面對面交流，深入了解了這家企業的就業機會和文化氛圍，獲得了許多實用的就業建議。尤其是在酒店和旅遊行業的職業發展方面，他們的分享讓我深受啟發，也讓我對未來的職業方向有了更清晰的規劃。通過與行業前輩的互動，我學到了如何更好地適應職場環境，提升自己的競爭力。這次經歷不僅拓寬了我的視野，也讓我對未來的職業道路充滿信心和期待。非常感謝這次寶貴的學習和交流機會，它為我打開了新的可能性！ |
