CCE organized three courses for the Education and Youth Development Bureau
In March, CCE organized three professional courses for the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and targeted at teaching staff. These three courses, which were “Application and Practice of Creative Drama in Primary School”, “How to Establish and Strengthen Assessment Literacy in Kindergarten”, and “Understanding Children Brain Functions and Training Activities”, were designed to improve the teaching quality of teaching staff and promote their professional development. Total number of participants was around 60, and they are teaching staff from kindergarten and primary schools in Macao.
The course of “Application and Practice of Creative Drama in Primary School” was designed with interactive games. Participants were equipped to understand various creative drama activities and integrate drama into classroom for enhancing children’s enthusiasm for learning. For the course of “How to Establish and Strengthen Assessment Literacy in Kindergarten”, this course provided more knowledge to participants on different assessment methods through group discussions and this helps to improve their teaching strategies. Then for the course of “Understanding Children Brain Functions and Training Activities”, it provided an overview of the development and functions of children brains and teaching strategies on different development stages.
These three courses have been completed successfully with great recognition and positive feedbacks were received from the participants.
CCE continues to provide training courses for DSEDJ to promote the sustainable development of teaching staff.
