Summer School Information
The early-bird application for the 10th APRU Multi-Hazards Summer School is now open! This year’s focus is “Science, Technology, and Innovation in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): Applying Big Data and AI.”
Main objectives:
- Understand the mechanism of international DRR strategies
- Learn from the experiences and recovery from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami
- Understand the application of big data in DRR
- Discuss the major challenges and roles of academia in progressing disaster risk reduction in each country
