On 16 May 2025, a delegation from the College of Education for the Future at Beijing Normal University (BNU) visited the Faculty of Education (FED) at the University of Macau (UM), where they were warmly received by Prof. Lianghuo FAN, Dean of FED; Prof. Dongbo ZHANG, International and External Partnership Leader of FED and Prof. Yang GONG, Programme Coordinator of the Bachelor of Education in Chinese.

Dean Fan highlighted the faculty’s research development strategy, and expressed hope for achieving substantial progress in future academic cooperation and talent cultivation. Prof. Zhang provided an overview of FED’s educational philosophy, curriculum structure, teaching faculty and research achievements. Prof. Yuhong DU, Dean of the College of Education for the Future at BNU introduced the faculty’s development history and talent training goals. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics in contemporary education and future collaboration in joint talent development, laying a solid foundation for continued exchange.

The delegation included Prof. Yuhong DU, Dean of the College of Education for the Future and Dean of Leyu College; Prof. Jian SONG, Associate Dean of the College of Education for the Future and Deputy Director of the Zhuhai Campus Office; Associate Professor Xiaowei WU from the Department of Educational Theory and Policy and Dr. Jiajing LI, Research Fellow from the Department of Curriculum and Teaching.
