We are glad to invite Prof. Curtis A. Suttle, who is a Distinguished University Scholar and Professor, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the American Academy of Microbiology, from the University of British Columbia, Canada, to share his insights into the complex roles of marine viruses in shaping life on Earth and their crucial integration into the marine ecosystem.
