Dear UM Students,
The English Writing and Communication Centre (EWCC), English Language Centre (ELC) of FAH, invites you to the guest lecture of EWCC March’s “Communication Month”: “Hospitality and Tourism” with a follow-up competition.
This workshop introduces practical skills of verbal and writing English in the service industry. The communication with stakeholders, including guests and co-workers, is essential in maintaining good relationships and getting the daily job done. Students can get some insights of the career path of both hospitality industry and OTA segments.
There will be a follow-up competition which will give students an immediate platform to use their newly obtained knowledge in practice. Winning students will be awarded book coupons.
About the Guest:
Ms. TAN, Si Ting (Sitti) received her Bachelor’s degree in hospitality and gaming management in 2019 from the University of Macau. Hotels that she has worked with included the Banyan Tree Macau, the Peninsula Hong Kong, and the Peninsula Beijing, showing her extensive experience in hospitality and hotel management. She is now the Associate Market Manager of Expedia Shenzhen.
