The Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) is now recruiting Student Trainee(s) to assist with CMS Historic Research Projects.

All current UM students—both local and non-local—are welcome to apply.

 

Job Duties

• Assist in sorting and organizing historical references and information

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements

• Current UM student

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)

• Strong communication skills, team spirit, sense of responsibility, and positive work attitude

• Familiarity with the historical background of Macau

• Priority will be given to applicants who can work according to a fixed schedule

 

Work Hours

• Trainees are required to work 3–5 sessions per week (9–15 hours), with a maximum of 15 hours per week

• Regular working hours: Monday to Friday

  • – Morning session: 10:00–13:00

  • – Afternoon session: 15:00–18:00

 

Stipend

• MOP 66/ hour

 

Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview or other assessments. Renewal of the position is possible based on satisfactory performance.
