Yuelu College of Hunan University and Cheng Yu Tung College of the University of Macau Sign Cooperation Agreement
湖南大學嶽麓書院與澳大鄭裕彤書院簽署兩院合作協議
To deepen the exchange between universities from Macao and Mainland China, staff and students from Hunan University’s Yuelu College recently visited Cheng Yu Tung College at the University of Macau for an “Exploration of Macau’s Cultural History” exchange program. During this period, staff and students from both colleges participated in various lectures and experiential learning sessions, along with visits to several famous landmarks in Macao, enhancing mutual understanding and appreciation of Macao’s historical and cultural significance.
At the opening ceremony, Wong Seng Fat, Interim Master of Cheng Yu Tung College, and Xiao Yongming, Dean of Yuelu College, signed a cooperation agreement between the two colleges. Starting in 2025, the two colleges officially launched a student exchange program, with each institution sending students for short-term exchanges every year. Wong Seng Fat expressed hope that through these mutual visits, students from both colleges would inspire each other and grow together, contributing to the development of their respective institutions. Xiao Yongming noted that the exchange activities would help broaden students’ international perspectives, promote cultural exchange, and foster the development of both colleges, laying a solid foundation for students’ growth and future development.
The theme of this exchange lasted four days. Under the guidance of staff and students from the University of Macau, the Yuelu College delegation toured the campus and visited the Macao Museum of Art, the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, and the Ruins of St. Paul’s. Yuelu College students participated in a series of workshops organized by Cheng Yu Tung College, including making shrink film at the Mulan Workshop and a cooking class on Macanese cuisine, allowing them to deeply experience the unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures through hands-on learning.
The Yuelu College delegation was led by Dean Xiao Yongming and Associate Professor Wang Xing. Gong Yingxue, Associate Master of Cheng Yu Tung College, accommodated the Hunan staff on their visit. The teachers from both colleges engaged in in-depth discussions about college operations, management styles, and educational programs. In September 2024, staff and students from Cheng Yu Tung College participated in the Confucius Ceremony at Hunan University. This recent visit by Hunan University students further strengthened the friendship and cooperation between the two universities, providing deeper experiences and insights into each other’s historical cultures, local characteristics, and learning methods.

為深化澳門與國內高校的交流，湖南大學嶽麓書院師生近日到訪澳門大學鄭裕彤書院並進行“澳門文化歷史之旅”交流活動。期間兩校師生參與不同講座和書院體驗式學習，並參觀多個澳門著名景點，促進了雙方的交流互鑒以及對澳門歷史文化的了解。
活動啟動儀式上，澳大鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發和湖大嶽麓書院院長肖永明進行了兩院合作協議的簽訂儀式。兩書院將從2025年起，正式開展學生互訪交流活動，每年互派學生進行短期交流學習。黃承發表示，期望透過互訪活動，兩書院學生能夠相互啟發、共同成長，為推動書院的發展作出貢獻。肖永明表示，交流活動有助擴大學生的國際視野，促進文化交流，推動兩校書院發展，為學生的成長和未來發展打下良好的基礎。
是次交流主題為期間四天，在澳大師生的帶領下，湖大師生參觀了澳大校園，並到訪澳門藝術博物館、澳門回歸賀禮陳列館、大三巴牌坊等。湖大師生參加了一系列由澳大鄭裕彤書院準備的工作坊，包括在鄭裕彤書院木蘭坊製作熱縮片、烹飪土生葡菜工作坊等活動，讓湖大同學通過體驗式學習，深入體驗澳門中西方文化交融的特色。
是次湖南大學嶽麓書院代表團由院長肖永明、副教授王興帶隊。鄭裕彤書院副院長龔映雪陪同湖大老師參觀，兩院老師就書院的工作、管理方式以及育人平臺等進行了深入交流。2024年9月，澳大師生到湖大嶽麓書院參加了祭孔大典。是次湖大師生的回訪，進一步增進了兩校學生之間的友誼和合作，對兩地的歷史文化、地方特色及學習方式有了更深的體驗和認識。
