Peking University Yuanpei College Delegation Visits UM’s Cheng Yu Tung College, Writing a New Chapter on a Decade of Collaboration
北大元培學院師生訪澳大鄭裕彤書院 攜手十載續寫合作新篇
To deepen the exchange between Macau and Beijing universities and enhance students’ understanding of Macau’s history and culture, staff and students from Peking University Yuanpei College recently visited Cheng Yu Tung College at the University of Macau, engaging in a seven-day “Macau Historical and Cultural Journey” exchange activity. During this period, staff and students from both institutions participated in various historical and cultural experience activities and visited multiple sites in Macau, promoting mutual learning and understanding.
The delegation from Peking University Yuanpei College was led by the college’s deputy secretary Ding Xiyou, Liu Rui from the teaching office, and student union secretary Guo Yijie. At the welcoming ceremony, deputy secretary of Yuanpei College Ding Xiyou and Interim Master of Cheng Yu Tung College Wong Seng Fat both delivered speeches, expressing their hopes to further promote collaboration between the two colleges and to expand students’ academic horizons and cultural experiences through this event.
Accompanied by staff and students from the University of Macau, the Yuanpei College group toured the university campus and participated in various unique activities, including visits to the distinctive gaming laboratory, the Macau Return Commemorative Gift Exhibition Museum, the Macau Museum of Art, and traditional old streets in Macau, gaining firsthand experience of Macau’s rich historical heritage and the integration of diverse cultures. Students also attended related courses at the University of Macau, experiencing the differences in teaching methods between the two locations. Cheng Yu Tung College also arranged several unique activities for the Peking University group, including a gentleman’s ball experience class, a local Macanese cuisine cooking class, a traditional dance workshop, and a handmade workshop, allowing students to interactively appreciate the unique charm of Macau’s blend of Eastern and Western cultures.
At the closing ceremony of the exchange, students celebrated the tenth anniversary of cooperation between the two colleges, reflecting on the past through photographs and interviews with former participants, celebrating a decade of shared friendship. Associate Master of Cheng Yu Tung College Gong Yingxue stated that since 2015, both colleges have continuously engaged in mutual visits and exchanges, establishing a solid foundation of cooperation and friendship. This event, coinciding with the tenth anniversary, marks an important step in deepening cooperation, providing students with a broader platform for academic development and exchange, broadening their perspectives, and offering valuable opportunities for mutual learning within the collegiate education model.
This event not only serves as a testament to the deep friendship between the two colleges but also opens a new chapter for future exchanges and cooperation. At this special moment marking the tenth anniversary of their collaboration, both sides wish for enduring friendship and look forward to continuing to work hand in hand to create further brilliance in the future.
爲深化澳門與北京高校的交流，增進學生對澳門歷史文化的了解，北京大學元培學院師生近日訪問澳門大學鄭裕彤書院，開展爲期七天的“澳門歷史文化之旅”交流活動。期間，兩校師生共同參與多項歷史文化體驗活動，走訪澳門多地，促進彼此互學互鑒。
此次北京大學元培學院代表團由學院副書記丁夕友、教學辦公室劉芮老師、團委書記郭一傑老師帶隊。在歡迎儀式上，元培學院副書記丁夕友與鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發分別致辭，共同期望通過此次活動進壹步推動兩院合作，拓展學生的學術視野和文化體驗。
在澳大師生陪同下，元培學院師生參觀了澳大校園，參與多項特色活動，包括參訪獨具特色的博彩實驗室、澳門回歸賀禮陳列博物館、澳門藝術博物館，以及澳門傳統老街區，實地感受澳門深厚的歷史底蘊和多元文化交融的特色。同學們還聆聽了澳門大學相關課程，親身體驗兩地教學異同。鄭裕彤書院還爲北大師生精心安排了多項書院特色活動，包括君子球體驗課、土生葡菜製作體驗課、土風舞工作坊、木蘭坊手作工坊等，讓北大同學通過互動實踐深入體會澳門中西文化並存的獨特魅力。
交流閉幕儀式上，同學們進行了兩院合作十週年的慶祝儀式，通過照片回顧、採訪往屆參加同學等方式，共同慶祝十年攜手相伴的情誼。鄭裕彤書院副院長龔映雪表示，自2015年起，鄭裕彤書院與元培學院持續開展互訪交流，建立了牢固的合作關系與友誼。本次活動恰逢十週年紀念，是兩院深化合作的重要一步，爲學生提供了更廣闊的學術發展與交流平台，不僅拓寬了學生的視野，也爲高校書院制育人模式提供了寶貴的互學機會。
