以體育為媒建粵港澳青年交流平台，增進粵港澳青年對中華優秀傳統文化的認同和自信，在澳門大學校長、粵港澳大灣區西岸科技創新和人才培養合作聯盟理事長宋永華教授的支持下，澳門大學作為賽事主辦方之一，繼去年與佛山大學聯合舉辦了首屆粵港澳青年龍舟賽事後，本年繼續與佛山大學聯合舉辦的 “2025年粵港澳青年龍舟邀請賽” 於2025年10月12日在佛山大學仙溪校區圓滿舉行。

是次賽事共設200米與500米直道競速兩個項目，邀請了14間來自粵港澳大灣區的高等院校的共200多名運動員參與。最終，華南師範大學、廣州體育學院及澳門大學獲得一等奬；順德職業技術大學、廣州航海學院、佛山大學、澳門理工大學及香港浸會大學獲得二等奬；廣東輕工職業技術大學、南方醫科大學、電子科技大學中山學院、澳門鏡湖護理學院、澳門城市大學及北京科技大學順德創新學院獲得三等奬。

除了龍舟競賽外，主辦方還安排了文化交流環節，讓參與者得以增進彼此之間的認識和友誼。澳門大學與佛山大學共同舉辦本次活動，促進了粵港澳地區高校之間體育文化交流，共同傳承中華民族傳統龍舟文化。

The “2025 Greater Bay Area Youth Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament” was successfully held on 12 Oct 2025 at Foshan University’s Xianxi Campus. This event aims to build up the sports exchange platform and enhance the recognition and confidence of Chinese traditional culture for the youth of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. With the support from Prof. Yonghua Song, Rector of the University of Macau (UM) and Chairman of Alliance for Technology, Innovation, and Talent Development in Western Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, UM serves as one of the event hosts for co-organizing with Foshan University (FOSU) again this year.

The tournament featured two race categories: 200-meter and 500-meter straight-line sprints. 14 higher educational institutions from Greater Bay Area are being invited and there are over 200 athletes participated in this competition. As last, South China Normal University, Guangzhou Sport University, and the University of Macau won the first prizes. Shunde Polytechnic University, Guangzhou Maritime University, Foshan University, Macao Polytechnic University, and Hong Kong Baptist University got the second prizes. Guangdong Industry Polytechnic University, Southern Medical University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, City University of Macau, and Shunde Innovation College, University of Science and Technology Beijing received the third prizes.

In addition to dragon boat competition, the organizers arranged the cultural exchange activities for participants so as to deepen their understanding and friendships. Through co-organizing this event, UM and FOSU not only facilitate the sports and cultural exchange with the higher institutions from Greater Bay Area, but also to inherit the traditional Chinese and dragon boat culture collectively.
