Bader College at Herstmonceux Castle, the United Kingdom campus of Queen’s University, Canada, will host a Scholars’ Retreat in 2026. The College welcomes expressions of interest from scholars affiliated with UM.
The Retreat will be offered during two periods: March–June 2026 and September–December 2026. Visiting scholars, researchers, and writers are invited to reside in Bader Hall, with the option of booking an en-suite room or apartment, and to make use of a dedicated office space within the historic Castle throughout their stay.
Located on a peaceful moated castle estate near the Sussex coast, the Retreat provides an ideal setting for concentrated research, academic writing, and intellectual reflection. The campus is conveniently connected to London and Gatwick Airport, ensuring ease of travel for international visitors.
