On the evening of 2 November, 2025, Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) held the High Table Dinner, featuring Chinese badminton world champion Ms. Ma Jin as the guest speaker, who shared insights from her illustrious sports career and the spirit of athletics. The event was also attended by distinguished academic guests, including Professor Rob Law, UMDF Chair Professor of Smart Tourism; Professor Li Degui, Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean (Research and Development) of Faculty of Business Administration; Professor Janny Leung, Master of Choi Kai Yau College; Professor Yang Liu, Master of Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College; and Professor Lam Iok Fong, Director of Centre for Macau Studies. Additionally, six CYTC College Fellows attended the dinner, engaging with students throughout the evening.
The dinner began with Professor Wong Seng Fat, Interim Master of CYTC, extending a warm welcome to all first-year students and explaining the educational significance of the High Table Dinner. Starting with the timely topic of the National Games, Professor Wong then introduced the guest speaker, Ms. Ma Jin, and her exemplary achievement.
In her speech, Ms. Ma Jin recounted her journey in badminton, which began at the age of eight, and her first appearance for the Chinese national team at 17. She reflected on numerous memorable competitions throughout her career, emphasizing the profound pride she felt when the national anthem played at international games and the Chinese flag shone on her uniform. She expressed that all past hardships were outweighed by these moments of honor, noting that the word “China” on her team jacket carried far greater weight than her own name, symbolizing the deep responsibility and glory of representing the nation.
The evening also featured outstanding performances by three college students, who played the piano, performed on the saxophone, and delivered a vocal performance, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. The High Table Dinner brought together over 260 students, teachers, and guests, creating a memorable night filled with inspiring speeches, beautiful music, and engaging conversations.
2025年11月2日晚，鄭裕彤書院（CYTC）舉行高桌晚宴，邀請中國羽毛球世界冠軍馬晉女士擔任主講嘉賓，分享她精彩的運動生涯與體育精神。晚宴亦匯聚多位嘉賓，包括澳門大學發展基金會智慧旅遊講座教授羅振雄、工商管理學院副院長（研究及發展）及特聘教授李德櫃、蔡繼有書院院長梁美兒、馬萬祺羅柏心書院院長楊柳，以及澳門研究中心主任林玉鳳。此外，書院六位教員亦一同參與，與學生共聚交流。
晚宴伊始，鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發首先歡迎所有大一新生加入書院大家庭，並闡述高桌晚宴的教育意義。其後，他以現正熱烈舉行的全運會介紹主講嘉賓馬晉女士的卓越成就。
馬晉女士在演講中，娓娓道來她自8歲起投入羽毛球訓練、17歲首度代表中國隊出征的歷程。她分享運動員生涯中無數難忘的賽事，尤其當國歌在國際賽場上響起、國旗在胸前閃耀的時刻，過往一切艱辛都化為無比的驕傲與榮耀。她強調，隊服上所繡的「中國」二字，其份量遠超個人姓名，承載著國家榮譽與體育精神的深厚意義。
晚宴中，三位院生亦帶來精彩表演，分別演奏鋼琴、薩克斯風及獻唱歌曲，贏得滿場掌聲。整場高桌晚宴共有超過260名師生與嘉賓參與，在精彩的演講、悠揚的樂聲與融洽的交流中，共度了一個充實而難忘的夜晚。
