CTLE held Online Survey on Professional Development at UM
教與學優化中心就澳大專業發展進行線上調查
CTLE recently conducted a survey to better understand the current challenges in teaching and learning as well as training needs of academic staff at UM. During 4–19 November 2025, 106 responses were received from various faculties and institutes. The findings indicate strong support for our initiatives: 82% agreed our events address both global trends and local needs, while 83% affirmed effective communication of opportunities. The most significant teaching and learning challenges identified were student engagement, supporting diverse learning needs, and integrating technology effectively. Time constraints and scheduling conflicts were cited as barriers to participation in professional development opportunities, and in-person workshop was considered the most beneficial format. Faculty members expressed strong interest in topics such as active learning strategies, effective course and assessment design, and feedback techniques.
To express our appreciation, CTLE held a lucky draw on 26 November 2025 and 5 of the survey participants will receive on campus food and beverage coupons. Congratulations to all winners!
CTLE sincerely thanks all faculty members who participated in the survey. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping our future professional development initiatives. We look forward to your continued support and engagement in our programmes.
