This was followed by a workshop in October led by Dr. Jean-Paul Duquette on “Pechakucha”, a dynamic presentation style that emphasizes visuals over text. In this workshop, participants learned how to deliver impactful messages using 20 slides shown for just 20 seconds each, a format designed to sharpen public speaking skills and boost creativity. The session explored techniques and structure behind PechaKucha, offering practical tips for crafting compelling slides and captivating audiences. This provided valuable guidance for both newcomers to the PechaKucha format and experienced presenters gearing up for the first-ever PechaKucha Competition organized by ELC-ECAC. Held on 22 October 2025, the competition brought together contestants from various faculties and was a resounding success, showcasing creativity and concise communication through this dynamic presentation style.
