Title: Evidence of a cascading positive tipping point towards electric vehicles

Introduction:  Electric vehicles are rapidly innovating, becoming cheaper and more popular. Once they surpass a crucial tipping point, they may permanently replace internal combustion engine vehicles. Recent data suggests this tipping point is near in the EU, China, and possibly the U.S., with conventional vehicle sales declining since 2019. Simulations indicate a timeline for achieving cost parity and potential policy support to phase out combustion vehicles by 2050.
