澳門大學慶祝45周年校慶開放日於1月11日成功舉行,澳門研究中心積極參與其中,設立了澳門研究哲學碩士課程資料展示攤位。此外,中心還展出了澳門傷殘人士的手工創作,這些作品包括具有中國圖案的手提包、新春年花及葡萄牙特色的飾品,充分展現了澳門作為東西方文化交融之地的獨特魅力。此次活動旨在提升公眾對本地文化及社會議題的關注,並促進學術與社區的互動。

另一重要活動是“澳門美食研究”,澳門作為 “創意城市美食之都”,我們特邀了長期研究澳門土生菜食譜的梁黃遠娜博士,為參加者深入淺出地分享了土生菜的歷史及菜式介紹,並現場示範了土生菜的製作過程。參加者不僅積極提問,還熱情參與,最後品嚐自己製作的土生菜作品,活動氛圍活躍。

此次活動吸引了眾多市民和學生前來參觀,大家在享受美味的同時,也加深了對澳門文化的認識。通過這次活動,澳門研究中心不僅向公眾展示了豐富的地道美食,還促進了社會各界對本地文化與社會的關注與討論。透過開放日的各項活動,澳門研究中心展示及推廣本地文化研究及與社區聯繫方面的重要角色,並讓世界更了解並欣賞澳門歷史文化的多樣性與魅力。

 

On January 11, 2026, the University of Macau held its 45th Anniversary Open Day, and the Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) actively participated by providing various programmes to the participants. CMS set up an information booth to showcase data about the programme of Master’s of Philosophy in Macao Studies. In addition, CMS exhibited handcrafted creations by individuals with disabilities in Macau, including tote bags with Chinese patterns, handmade Chinese New Year flowers, and Portuguese-themed ornaments, highlighting Macau’s unique charm as a hub where East meets West. This event aimed to raise public awareness of local cultural and social issues and to promote interaction between academia and the community.

Another important activity is “Macau Culinary Research”.  As Macau is recognized as a “Creative City of Gastronomy”, we invited Dr. Nana Leong Wong Un Na, who has extensively researched local cuisine, to share insights into the history and dishes of local food in an accessible manner. She also demonstrated the preparation of local dishes on-site. Participants were actively engaged, creating a lively atmosphere.

This event attracted many citizens and students, who deepened their understanding of Macau’s culture while enjoying delicious food. Through this event, the Centre for Macau Studies showcased the richness of local cuisine and fostered social awareness and discussion regarding local cultural and social matters. By offering diverse activities during the UM Open Day, the Centre for Macau Studies (CMS) demonstrated its important role in promoting local cultural research and connecting with the community, helping the world better understand and appreciate the diversity and charm of Macau’s historical culture.
